A104

The A104 model is an automatic electrical temperature sensing controller designed for refrigeration systems that do not require defrosting and that need a voltage monitor. It features two outputs: one for controlling the compressor and another for the stirrer. This versatility makes it widely used in milk cooling tanks, as it can effectively manage both the compressor and the stirrer’s operation.

A significant competitive advantage of the A104 is its integrated voltage monitor, which can detect variations in the power line and activate the controller’s protection if programmed accordingly. Additionally, the A104 offers various parameters that can be configured to optimize performance for specific applications, ensuring efficient operation and tailored control.

Power supply voltage: 220 Vac (± 10 %);

Refrigeration

The A104 is a controller designed for refrigeration systems without defrost.

Fixing options

A practical and versatile product! To facilitate the controller’s installation, the Black Line was designed with two set up options: clips and screws.

Integrated voltage monitor

A104 temperature controller has integrated voltage monitor, which detects fluctuations in the electrical grid, protecting the device in cases of overvoltage or undervoltage.

Milk cooling tanks

Widely used in milk cooling tanks, the A104 features an auxiliary relay output that allows the activation of agitator paddles.

Stainless Steel Temperature Sensor

More robust, resistant, and durable, the temperature sensor used in the A104 is made of stainless steel.

Quick configuring with FastKey

How long does it take to configure multiple controllers? With FastKey, just a blink of an eye! FastKey copies the settings from an already configured controller and efficiently replicates them onto others with ease and convenience.

Remote monitoring with WebFi

Ageon’s monitoring system, WebFi, enables you to remotely monitor your Black Line controller via email alerts. It’s easy to configure and eliminates the need for a computer to be connected to the device for it to perform its function.

Frequently asked questions

The A104 controller must be powered with 220V, either by a single-phase or two-phase network, through terminals 5 and 6 (as indicated in the technical guide).

No. The stainless steel sensor is not designed to come into contact with food. The stainless steel probe is intended to provide greater mechanical resistance and be secured by screw pressure, for example. We recommend installing the sensor in thermowells to avoid contact with food.

When checking the temperature of the milk inside the tank, it is important to take the measurement at the same point where the sensor is installed. Each point in the system will display different temperatures, so it is crucial to measure at the same location as the sensor. If necessary, the sensor can be calibrated using the r4 parameter.

The A104 digital temperature controller has an integrated voltage monitor, which means it can detect variations in the power supply and provide protection if programmed to do so. To calibrate the voltage monitor of the controller, simply measure the voltage at the installation site and adjust parameter u6.

E1 is a sensor error. Usually, the sensor wire has disconnected from the terminal, requiring reconnection.
