Refrigeration and freezing

Designed specifically for cold rooms and freezer display cases with defrost management, the A106 has features that make it stand out in this segment.

Fixing options

A practical and versatile product! To facilitate the controller’s installation, the Black Line was designed with two set up options: clips and screws.

Defrost management

The A106 performs forced defrost control using either resistance heaters or hot gas, offering flexible configuration options to adapt defrost cycles according to specific system requirements.

Fan control

For controlling the fans in cold storage rooms, rely on the A106! It manages fan operation during defrost cycles and allows flexible configuration of fan cycles to optimize system performance.

Quick configuring with FastKey

How long does it take to configure multiple controllers? With FastKey, just a blink of an eye! FastKey copies the settings from an already configured controller and efficiently replicates them onto others with ease and convenience.

Remote monitoring with WebFi

Ageon’s monitoring system, WebFi, enables you to remotely monitor your Black Line controller via email alerts. It’s easy to configure and eliminates the need for a computer to be connected to the device for it to perform its function.

Frequently asked questions

Yes, the A106 controller is dual voltage, meaning the same equipment is compatible with both 127 V and 220 V power supplies. It is important to note that for each power supply voltage, the specific terminals must be used (refer to the manual for power supply instructions).

The ambient temperature sensor of the A106 controller should be installed in locations that accurately represent the temperature of the stored product. It is recommended to position the sensor in the middle of the storage area, away from walls and doors, to avoid heat transfer from outside. Additionally, the sensor should be placed at a height that reflects the average temperature of the storage environment, ensuring it is not obstructed by other items.

The defrost sensor of the A106 controller should be installed in areas where moisture accumulation is most likely to occur, such as near evaporators or in low-lying areas of the freezing compartment. This ensures that the sensor accurately detects frost build-up and activates the defrost cycle effectively. It is important to position the sensor away from direct airflow to avoid false readings, ensuring it responds accurately to actual frost conditions.

Yes. The A106 temperature controller from Ageon has functions to automate the defrosting process. However, if necessary, it is possible to force a defrost by pressing the A button for approximately 4 seconds, until the indicator LED on the display signals the start of the defrost cycle. After defrosting, the controller will operate automatically as programmed.

The indications E1 and E2 indicate errors in the sensors, with E1 referring to the ambient control sensor and E2 to the evaporator sensor. Generally, this means that the sensor wire has become disconnected from the terminal and needs to be reconnected.

The temperature controller functions as a switch, controlling the activation of other systems such as defrost, door sensor, and compressor. If the compressor is not working, it is important to consult qualified technicians to check issues such as the condition of the refrigerant, whether it was properly sized, or if any maintenance is required.
